Who we are
We are Lamp of Hope Ministries, a Christian, nonprofit organization that has been working for over 16 years to provide assistance to families in need, both in our community of Sanford, Florida, and internationally in countries such as Honduras and the Dominican Republic. Our mission is to empower families, restore hope, and make a real difference through food distribution and assistance programs.
Each week, we distribute food to the most needy families and support people experiencing homelessness. We fund our initiatives through our thrift store and other activities. Our values of solidarity, credibility, and transparency guide every action we take to generate a positive impact on the lives we touch.
